Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks for coming to my live chat earlier - it was quite an experience, I haven't done that before!
I know that there are still questions on the blog here that I didn't manage to answer in the chatroom (sorry, we had a few problems with the software!) so as soon as I can, I will answer those next week.
In the meantime I wish you all a good weekend and leave with you with a photo of two of the first bears to come to the sanctuary, Lydia and Christi.

Hello Victor!
i am a young student from Wales , and had seen your programme on Animalplanet, it was the best thing i had ever seen! the idea and the open spaces for the poorly treated bears was amazing. I have two questions to ask, how big were the enclosures? and why the need for the gravel in the enclosures?
i ask because my passion is wolves, and would some day like to help preserve these amazing creature, And seen as in the wild, wolves and bears share the same habitat i would like to know the reason for this.
I also wish some day to work with people like you and help preserve nature and wolves!
thankyou and please get back to me!

Hello Victor!
I am a girl from northern Sweden and I am studying biology/ecology. I just want to tell you how very happy I am that people like you and your co-workers exist. I watched the show on Animal Planet tonight and it gave me so strong feelings. At first I felt devastated by seeing how the animals were kept before they were rescued. Then came the feeling of relief when I saw the animals in the sanctuary along with the feeling of great admiration for you people. The negative and hopeless feeling was quickly pushed away by a positive and hopefull one.
I am looking forward to working with people like you one day, and to be a part of projects that make such a difference for nature and animals.
Humble greetings from Miria in Sweden
